Polli Horticultural Research Centre of the Estonian University of Life Sciences is responsible for the investigation and preservation of the genetic resources of fruit and berry cultivars and selections bred in Estonia. One of our responsibilities is to share the information on cultivars and landraces of Estonian origin as well as introduced geotypes that have proved to be suitable for growing in Estonia.
More than one thousand accessions have been planted into the collection of fruit genetic resources at Polli Horticultural Research Centre, including registered varieties, landraces and selected breeding lines of 17 tree fruit and small fruit crops.Browse the collection
The list of recommended cultivars has been compiled by experts from Estonian Horticulture Association, based on trial results and experience from professional growers with the aim to help fruit producers and amateur growers to choose the suitable cultivars for their garden from the wide range of cultivars available.Browse the collection
