Malus domestica Borkh.

Landrace. The original tree grew in the southern part of the Viljandi county. Few trees were propagated already in the 1930s. Wide interest in the cultivar arose after the1970s.

Winter season cultivar: consumption period lasts from December to March, or longer.

Fruit is of medium size, fl at globose. The ground colour is greenish yellow, the overcolour is absent or is diff usely red and covers a small part of the apple. The fl esh is greenish white, firm, juicy, sweet and sour. Fruits are rather resistant to apple scab.

Tree is vigorous, dense, round-topped, starts to bear late. Winter hardy.
