Kasper

Apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

‘Kasper’ is bred by Asta Kask. The seed of unknown parents was gathered in the 1970s. Application for plant breeders rights registered 19.05.2003, variety DUS are finished (registration trials).

Summer cultivar: ripens in August, can be stored more than a month.

Fruit is medium, conical. The skin is greenish yellow, overspread partly with red stripes. The fl esh is greenish white, pink under the skin, of medium fi rmness, juicy, sweet and sour. The table apple.

Tree is medium vigorous, round-topped, with good crontch angles, precocious, good bearer. Winter hardy.
