Malus domestica Borkh.

‘Koit’ is bred by Aleksander Siimon. It is grown from the seed of open pollinated (1947) ‘Suislepp’. Variety is registered and protected since 05.07.2001

Autumn season cultivar: September – December.

Fruit is of medium size, globose or oblong conical, whitish yellow ground colour covered to a small or a large extent with a pink mottled fl ush. The flesh is yellowish white, medium firm, juicy, subacid. Medium susceptible to scab. A dessert apple.

Tree is vigorous, spreading, starts to bear late and moderately productive. Winter hardy.
