Malus domestica Borkh.

‘Lembitu’ is bred at the Polli Horticultural Research Center by Aleksander Siimon and Kalju Kask. The cross ‘Liivi Kuldrenett’ × ‘Wealthy’ was made in 1946. Registed as new cultivar in 19.01.2010.

Autumn season cultivar: until November.

Fruit is of medium size or bigger, oblong conical, ribbed. The skin is greenish yellow. The major part of fruit, exposed to the sun, is covered blush with weakly defi ned red stripes. The flesh is whitish yellow,  medium firm, subacid. Medium susceptibility to scab.

Tree is vigorous, round-top, precocious, a good bearer. Winter hardiness is intermediate.
