Vahur

Apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

‘Vahur’ is bred by Aleksander Siimon from the seed of open pollinated (1947) ‘Antonovka’. Registered as new cultivar in 19.01.2010.

Autumn season cultivar: September – November.

Fruit is of medium size, oblate to globose, ribbed. The colour is greenish yellow to yellow, without overcolour. The flesh is greenish or yellowish white, with medium firmness, juicy, sweet and sour. Good resistance to apple scab.

Tree is medium vigorous, precocious, productive. Winter hardiness is good.
