‘Kadi’ is bred by Kalju Kask at Polli. Grown from the seed of open pollinated (1978) ‘Fondante des Bois’. Registered as new cultivar on 20.12.2011.
Summer cultivar: in August and/or in September.
Fruit is pyriform, overcoloured with attractive red. The flesh is juicy, sweet and tasty. Some grit cells near the core.
Tree is medium vigorous. Winter hardiness is medium. Disease resistance is rather good.
