Noarootsi punane

‘Noarootsi Punane’ is a landrace from the Noarootsi peninsula.

Ripens rather late.

Plum is smallish, round. The skin is red, overspread with a greyish bloom. The flesh is whitish yellow, soft, sweet, medium tasty, semifreestone.

Tree is medium vigorous, upright. A very good bearer, self-fertile. A good pollinizer for late-flowering cultivars. Winter hardy. Disease resistance is medium.
